Class Samples

Good Morning! What a beautiful Sunday today is -- praise the Lord! I was just out sitting on our porch having morning coffee with my DH, and all I could think of was how blessed we are. I wanted to just sit there and meditate with our Lord and Savior and thank him over and over again for all of my blessings. Don't you have days like that? Well I could go on and on about my blessings and thankfulness, but will not keep you in suspense any longer.

Here are a couple more of the projects we did yesterday at my card and scrapbooking classes. We all had a great time. One of the ladies brought some homemade apple muffins for brunch, and we snacked and created all day long. Then, I took a break around 4 p.m. and cooked some brauts (Sp?) on the grill (conveniently located right outside the door of my studio) so we could all get our second wind. Actually we all felt like taking a nap afterwards, but didn't.

The sympathy card was done using the new Level 2 Hostess Set, "Asian Artistry," stamped with Close to Navy on Confetti White cardstock, and layered on Close to Navy cardstock. We used SU's Watercolor Pencils to color and layered both panels on Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper. The base of the card is also Close to Navy cardstock.

My album pages are a case of pages I did at the last Clarkston Retreat, and designed by either Ronda Wade (Queen of the RubberQueens) or Melissa Roberts (Princess of the RubberQueens). I'm sorry ladies that I can't remember which of you designed these beautiful pages. I did change the base color from Baja Breeze to Kiwi Kiss. I know all the materials I used are discontinued SU products, but my ladies really wanted to do these pages so I made sure I ordered supplies before July 1. There was no stamping -- just accessories, accessories, accessories!! Products: Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Kraft, and Black cardstock; Urban Oasis Designer Series Paper; Valet Ribbon Originals; Butterfly Bigz Die; and SoHo Designer Hardware.

Hope you like and thanks for stopping by!!
Sandi
