Still Having Fun!!!

A really quick post today, as I need to get the rest of my cards designed for my class this weekend -- plus clean house (that's a day in itself). My first card using the Medallion background stamp was done for our swap at the RubberQueen demonstrator meeting last night. I only had a couple hours before the meeting to get something done, so this is a 3-minute card (but isn't it elegant and perfect for a wedding/shower card). I brayered Mellow Moss on the Medallion to stamp on Glossy White cardstock. Then used one of the stamps from Circle Circus and punched out with Scallop Circle punch, applied half-pearl from Pretties Kit using Crystal Effects, and added to Medallion with dimensional. Sentiment is from the new Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

The Happy Birthday card using the Embrace Life stamp set is one of the cards we will be doing at my card class this weekend. I used the Watercolor Reinker technique (presented by the Queen of the RubberQueens at our monthly demonstrator meeting in June). I love this technique -- especially because you can use the same stamp set and it turns out completely different every time you do it. And of course this is our new Crushed Curry cardstock and Razzleberry Lemonade designer series paper. I am so totally in love with the new In-Colors!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
Sandi

  1. Both cards are real nice. I love the simplicity of the medallion card and the very berry look of the 2nd one. I finally finished putting my stamps sets together tonight (that I got this past month(9)) Tomorrow I will try and make me some extra all occassions cards.Catch you later. TFS
