I'M BACK WITH MORE STAMPIN' UP FUN!!

Have you got your gift tags done yet for Christmas?  I love, love, love making gift tags!!  And Christmas tags are the best because Stampin' Up always designs the cutest stamps for tags -- the hard part is trying to make up my mind which stamps I want to use.  Actually, the tags I'm showing you today are 2 easy-peasy designs created for an event that I knew people where not really into stamping.  I kinda forced them, but then they just couldn't get over how easy it was, yet really cute for their packages.  I also have 5 tags I did at this month's RubberQueen meeting that Ronda Wade and Tamie Ackerson designed (now these are really cute!!!).

And finally, a tri-fold thank you pocket card I did today.  I haven't done a legal size card in ages, but another easy-peasy creation when you are mailing out revised Envelope Punch Board labels to your customers.  It was a perfect fit for what I wanted to send.  I am a little disappointed however because I wanted to do another new project today to post (something crazy and really different), but never got to it by the time I finished sending out thank-you and Project H.O.P.E. card's.  But I love doing that and life was good today!!!

So here they are:

My simple/no frills gift tags to use up all those designer paper scraps.  (I love the stamp on the right, wish I had it when my girls were small.)

RubberQueens' November monthly meeting make'n takes -- so cute!!

Some inking with the brayer, then a little sponging -- another fast card.  This layer was actually a reject because I smudged some ink on the sky that was on my pinky finger.  So that is why there are birds flying around (LOL).  Tri-fold card using 8 1/2" x 11" Soft Suede cardstock.

Inside of card showing pocket to hold revised measurement label for the Envelope Punch Board.  Great way to say thank-you to my awesome customers and get their revised label to them.

I am so excited because "tomorrow" is going to be "my" day to create something different!!  I hope it turns out decent so I can post it.

Until next time,

Sandi

GOING CRAZY!!

Yep, been heading down crazy street the last couple of weeks!!  I have been stamping like crazy -- but don't have "one" thing to show you.  And you ask, WHY?  Well, actually I have prepared about 300 cards and small projects for an upcoming craft event I am attending but they are mostly retired stamps and product.  I'm trying to downsize, so decided to pull out all my Christmas cards, swaps, and projects to finish them and hopefully sell some at an event I'm attending.  I couldn't believe how many card "kits" I had collected from different events/classes.  Fortunately, I have never given away any of my Christmas stamps, because I only buy what I love.  The problem was how long it took to find them -- hello!!!  I will never, ever again put a card in my cabinet unless it is totally finished.  And I haven't even started on my all-occasion cards!

So today I am going to show you why I am going crazy.  I hate, hate, hate starting a new project without cleaning and putting away my tools, cardstock, stamps, etc.  I tried cleaning up after doing a few card kits, but learned very fast that it was taking way too long.  So after 13 days, this is what my craft room looks like (makes me gag!!):

This is the " halfway-clean" spot.

Overall view of messy, messy, crazy room!!

Had to move to larger work station for this job!!

Close-up of my temporary work station!!

Cutting, scoring, punch, and Big Shot space.

Christmas Cards boxed up to go!!

Desk on left is my "normal" work station.
Now you see why I am going CRAZY!!  Fortunately,tThis will all be cleaned up tonight so I can start tomorrow on my Everyday Occasions Card Kit for display at event -- Yippee!!

And of course I can't leave you without at least one current card from Creative Retreat class:

Such a cute card designed by Tamie Ackerson for one of the cards we had at the card class.

Until next time,
Sandi

Stampin' Up: Christmas Stamp-A-Stack Party

I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year!!  Yes, I love the holiday season but hate the weather and never-ending "to-do list."  A lot of you asked for directions for the card box (to hold 20 cards and envelopes) in my previous post.  I did finally get them written today, but do not know how to insert a PDF in this post.  So if you would like these directions, I would be happy to send them to you if you leave me your e-mail address and blog address in a comment below, I will get them out.

Today I want to show you the rest of the cards my stamping friends did for the Stamp-A-Stack party.

This card is a complete CASE of a card Tamie Ackerson created -- love it!!

This card was done using two different pieces of "Winter Frost Designer Series Paper" (couldn't make up my mind which I liked better -- see other design below).  Note the beautiful garland using Dazzling Diamonds!

Inside of the above card.

Done with the Pool Party design.  You can't tell by this picture, but the tree is stamped in Night of Navy Ink.
Until next time,
Sandi
