Well I got my house all cleaned so that means I can sit down and play!! WooHoo!!! But even before I do that, I thought I would share with you an oldie-but goodie Buckle Purse for 3" x 3" Note Cards that I made for my thank you gifts this month. This pattern was introduced to me from my upline, Ronda Wade, way back in 2006, and I love it now just as much as I loved it then. So simple to make, but it is always a WOW. I was afraid I wouldn't find my instructions so I could get all the measurements. But I did, and I am so glad I only had 2 different places I had to check.
So moving right along (as I want to play you know), here is how it turned out:
|
I inserted four card and envelopes -- nothing fancy, but I liked them and they look so pretty in person as I misted with Champange Mist. Click on the pictures to enlarge. I used Night of Navy Card Stock and Classic Ink, of course my favorite Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper, Perfect Punches Stamp Set, Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon, Rhinestones, and Elegant Lines Embossing Folder. |
|
Here is a close-up of the notecards and how the inside looked. |
I hope you all are enjoying this beautiful weather, as I know I have been out yesterday and today just loven' it and soaking it all in before it changes. Have a beautiful weekend, as I plan on it!
Until next time,
Sandi

ReplyDeleteLove these (as always), Sandi!!! My first thought when I looked at them is that there appears to be the cutest little fish face at the bottom of the card with Rhinestone eyes..lol!! I would love to be able to do these and thank you's for my hostesses. Any chance of getting the directions for the box????? Email it to me at laurie.gibson57@yahoo.com :)
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. The buckle adds so much to just the box. If you share the instructions could I be included please. This would be a great Hostess thank you gift.
