The second picture shows another technique for our technique album ring. Every meeting, we do a new technique to add to our ring. This technique we called Reinker Watercolor, showcased on Patty's Stamping Spot. I used Rich Razzleberry & Crushed Curry reinkers for mine. Combined with the Rich Razzleberry cardstock and polka dot ribbon and brad in the middle -- another WOW card/sample. All of the sample techniques are put on a Top Note die with the name of the technique at the top. My intentions are to put all of them in a 6" x 6" album with the recipe on the page to the left (yes, another thing to put on my "To Do" list). Another special "thank you" to my leader Ronda (aka, Queen of the RubberQueens) for always providing the team with awesome make'n takes and loads of tips at our monthly meetings. Another reason she has been SU Demonstrator of the Year for 3 years in a row!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Oh Sandi, how beautiful is that technique card! The other card is simple and pretty, as well.
ReplyDeleteI believe I will adopt the top note idea for my technique class. I have been tossing a lot of ideas around in my head and I think I just found the one. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

LOVE your cards! How did you get the mat for the new punch? Is it the Bigz die? Darn it, do I need that now, too? It looks really good!
ReplyDeleteMichelle,
ReplyDeleteThe mat is in the new catty, and was offered in our sneak peek. It one of the dies in the "Punch Windows Movers & Shapers Bigz X Die. Make sure you have the original Movers & Shakers Curly Labels Bigz X Die offered in current catty, because you need this base to use the dies (or so they say -- but I already had this so was all set). Thank you for looking and commenting.
what a great idea to shape your technique cards with the top note die, the look awesome! I also really love how sharp they look on craft cardstock. I might have to steal those ideas for my tech classes too! by the way beautiful studio, it must be wonderful to work in!
